South-West

Newborough & Llanddwyn Island

Insider tips

Little things the locals know

Time the tide

Llanddwyn Island is only accessible at low tide — check tide times the night before and aim for the two-hour window either side.

Dark skies

Anglesey is officially a Dark Sky Designated Island. Park up at Llanddwyn or Cemaes after sunset and look up.

Beach the boat-launches

Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr have slipways with free roadside parking — the best of both worlds for paddleboards and kayaks.

Wake up next to all of this

Every one of these places is on your doorstep when you stay or own at Pen Parc.
